RCAF Clinton Man Killed In Two -Car Head -On Smash William Holmes, Hamilton, an airman at RCAF Station Clinton, was fatally injured September 23, as a result of a two -car head-on collision on Highway 2, about ten miles east of Brantford. The Toronto nurse got off the bus letting it proceed without her and gave aid to the injured until help arrived. Holmes was pinned in the front seat of the car he and Tapley were riding in, Tapley was thrown onto the pavement. Both cars were destroyed.
