Our Lady a the Snows church,
Glen Oaks, New York, was the
scene, of a pretty wedding in bate
August, when on the 2t3th, Mary
Dorothy 1V1cGuire, R.N., became
the, bride of )Dr, David N. Grau-
bert. The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs, John lVfcGuire,
Clinton, and her httsband is the
son of the late Mr. and Mrs.

pearls held her fingertip veil
of matching ivory illusion. She

carried a white -ivory prayer
book from which fell red rose-
buds and streamers,
1VIrs. Donald Lloyd, Toronto,
only sister of the bride, as mat-
ron of honor, chose a waltz -
length dress of cognac crYstalette
over gold taffeta with wide full
skirt. The -small yoke in the front
of the fitted bodice was draped
with gold crystalette, which. con,
tinned to the back where it
formed a large bow at the waist-
line.
She wore a small head -hugg-
ing cap of cognac shade with
small+ matching veil, and carried
a spray of yellow daisies.
Miss Karen Gale, London,
niece of the groom, as flower -girl
was in green tafeta, with small
matching bonnet, and she carried
a nosegay of varied coloured
pinks.
Kenneth Somerton, Toronto,
was the groomsman, with Gene
Corbett, Kingston, a classmate of
the groom's and Charles Thomp-
son, Ottawa, brother of the bride
acting as ushers.
The reception was held at the
Huron College refectory, where
Thompson received guests
wearing an ankle -length dress
of midnight blue French ninon,
with sequin -trimmed' yoke and
lace -panelled skirt, pink hat and
a corsage of white gardenias. The
groom's mother assisting,chose
a taffeta dress in brown tone
with aecordian pleated skirt,
blush rose accessories and a cor-
sage of gardenias.
For a wedding trip to Quebec
and eastern points, the bride wore
• an Oxford grey suit, with winter
white accessories and gardenia
corsage. Mr.: and Mrs. Kirby
will ."tcside in London.
The bride is a graduate- of
Alma College, and St. Joseph's
School of Nursing, London, and
her husband is a graduate of the
University of Western Ontario.

Eleanor Jane Cook And Gary Hil-
ton Corbett ,exchanged vows in a
double -ring ceremony. The bride
is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs,
Norman E. Cook, Hensall, and the
groom is the son of Mr, and Mrs,
E. E. Corbett, Leamington. The
Rev. C. D. Daniel officiated, as-
sisted by the Rev. L. F. O'Neil,
of Leamington. Miss Iris Page,
Toronto, was soloist and Miss
Greta Laramie presided at the
organ. "
Entering the church with her
father, the bride wore a white
embroidered silk organza and
satin gown. The voluminous skirt
cascaded from embroidered panels
and swept gracefully into a cath-
edral train. Lily -paint sleeves
and Elizabethan collar featured
the fitted basque. Her fingertip
illusion veil was held by a silk
embroidered headdress studded
with seed pearls and she carried
a 'shower cascade of Tawny Gold
roses.,
Miss Jean Armstrong, Hensel',
was maid of honor and brides-
maids were Miss Barbara Bain
and Miss Beverley Prise, both of
Toronto. The attendants wore
identical waltz -length .gowns of
bronze crystalette over shrimp
taffeta with matching headdresses
and carried cascades of yellow
find bronze 'mums. Little Joan
Hopkinson, of Lions. Head, was
flower girl in a dress ofy,pale
yellow crystalette with, miniature
nosegay of deep gold baby 'mums.
Wayne Corbett was his broth-
er's groomsman. Ushers were Rob-
ert MacLelland, Montreal, and
Rev. Andrew Lane officiated at
a ceremony in the United Church
manse at Brussels, on Saturday,
September 10, when Eunice Ad-
eline, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
William C. Smith, Wroxeter, be-
came the bride of James Newton
Aikenhead, son of Mr. and Mrs.
John W. Aikenhead, Brucefield.
The bride Wore a white satin.
and lace gown with net tulle
overskirt and lace bolero featur-
ing lily -point sleeves. ,A
net and lace headdress trimmed
with white roses held her fing-
ertip veil and she carried red
roses with white satin streamers.
Attending the bride was Miss
Betty Tait, Londesboro, who wore
a mauve gown of satin and lace
with net overskirt and lace
bolero. She carried a bouquet of
white baby 'mums.
Leonard O'Rourke, Staffa, was
groomsman.
For receiving at her home, the
bride's mother wore a black dress
with white accessories. The
groom's mother, assisting, chose
a navy dress and white acces-
sories.
The couple will live in London
after a wedding trip through
Northern Ontario. The bride
traveled in a pink snit flecked
with bine with navy accessories,

iated at the double -ring cere-
mony in Northside United Church
manse, Seaforth, when Laura
Leiper and Gordon Murray, Wal-
ton, exchanged marriage vows,
The bride is the daughter of
William Leiper, Londesboro, and
the late Mrs, Leiper, and the
groom is the son of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Alex Murray, formerly
of Walton.
The bride wore a dress of
crystalette in romance pink with
a matching bolero, pink acces-
sories and a corsage of yellow
roses.
The couple will make their
home in Morris Township follow-
ing a wedding trip to the Ni-
agara Peninsula,
Robert Cook, brother of the bride.
-Receiving at her home, the
bride's mother wore an aqua blue
lace gown with matching hat and
corsage of pink rosebuds. 'The
groom's mother chose a gown of
Dior , blue brocaded satin with
shoulder corsage of pink rose,
buds.
For traveling, the bride donned
a. charcoal 'and white wollen
dreSs with. White hat, black ac-
cessories and corsage of Ameri-
can Beauty roses. On their re-
turn from a motor trip to Mus-
koka, Mr. and Mrs. Corbett will
reside in Toronto.
The bride- is a -graduate of the
University of Western Ontario
and Victoria Hospital School of
Nursing. The groom is a 1955
graduate in business administra-
tion of the University of Western
Ontario. ,.
