He scored when the hurried throw to the plate was low and wild. Nursing a 3-2 bulge going into the seventh it seemed that Mitch- ell were to be defeated for the first, time this season. Murray Colqhoun, veteran third sacker, for Mitchell, led off and struck out. Eddie Dolmage was safe on Hartley's error, Chessell moving to third. Henderson belt- ed a three and two pitch into right scoring Chessell. Dolmage got no farther than third when Allen was retired by Bill McDonald and Kraemer flied to Tebbutt. Clinton's final run was scored in the fifth. Johnny Hartley led off with a single, advanced to sec- ond on a pass ball and to third when Gerry Tebbutt singled. Har- tley slid home safely when Bill McDonald was thrown out at first by Allen. McDonald played heady baseball on this play slowing Dolmage's throw to the plate by blocking his view. Bill McDonald was in top pitch- ing form striking out 10 men and issuing two free passes besides starting off the first inning rally with a double. Allen was quite ell-' fectiv for Mitchell striking out five and walking one but he was hit harder and was in trouble al- most every inning. - Chief Guidels Visit The Chief Guide Lady Baden- Powell plans to visit Camps and centres in Ontario during August and September.
