The minutes were adopted as
read by Mrs. M. Steep. The finmz,
tial report was given by "Miss L.
Walkinshaw. After some ,discus-
sion it was decided to order memo
calendars for sale •later in the
year. H. G. Manning gave a short
talk on the recent temperance
conclave held in Goderich with
reference to its financial needs. It
was decided to assist this worthy
project.
The meeting was planned and
prepared by Mrs. A. L. Bodges and
Mrs. Lorne Jervis and at this point
Mrs. Rodges took charge and con-
ducted the program. The Scripture
lesson was read by Mrs. M. Steep.
Mrs. H. Jenkins led in prayer.
Solos were sung by Sylvia Carey,
Miss M A. Stone gave a very int-
eresting talk on current events
with particular reference. to the
United Nations,
Elwin Merrill showed slides he
had taken in Florida.
presided and introduced the sub-
ject, and after a helpful discussion
officers were elected as follows:

Afternoon tea was served by the
ladies of Wesley -Willis United
Church, in which the meeting was
held, and the members of the as-
sociation thoroughly enjoyed this,
their first meeting.
