sident and Mrs. T. O'Connell and

ster won the mystery prize, and
Mrs., Ed Welsh will provide one
for the next meeting.

Hensall Girl Is
Among Those At
Winaham Hospital
e:5
Lucille Lee, Hensall, will be
among 15 girls selected to begin
in October a year's training at
the Wingham General Hospital.
TJpon graduation they will be
certified nursing assistants.
There ' were sorne 50 or 60
aPplicants for the course which
will have as their instructor,
Mrs. Mary Peddle, formerly of
Listowel. Superintendent of the
Wingham hospital, Mrs. L E.
Morrey states that it is expected
that this course sponsored by
the Ontario Department of
Health, will relieve the critical
shortage of trained assistants.
The course presently is being
conducted in only four other On-
tario public hospitals at Hamil-
ton, Kingston, )3rockville and
Picton. The Wingham class is
the only one being held through -
Out the entire Western. Ontario
area. It is suggested that Wing -
