ely. The maid of honor chose a
ballerina -length gown of yellow
tulle 'over taffeta, worn' with an
embroidered lace jacket, matching
yellow forget-me-not headdress.

ed by the ,groom's mother, gowned
in dusty rose colored crepe and
lace with navy accessories and
corsage 'of yellow 'mums.

thern and Eastern Ontario the
bride donned.a 'navy linen suit,
cerise colored hat with cerise and
navy accessories and corsage of
yellow roses. The couple will re-
sidein Brussels
The groom is a. graduate of 'thee
Ontario Agricultural College,.Gue-
lph and the bride was formerly
employed in the office of the agri-
cultural representatives for Huron
County in Clinton.

A pretty wedding was 'solemniz-
ed •-in St. Andrew's Presbyterian
Church,' Clinton, last Friday' even-
ing at eight o'clock, when Gert-
rude Vander Heuvel, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Vaner
Heuvel, Oud Beyerland, Holland,
became the bride of Jacob Stwart,
Sarnia, son of Mr. and Mrs. G.

mpnity School Fair was held to
prepare for the Fair which will
be held on September 17 at the
Hensail arena In the evening.

The bride wore a floor-Iength
gown of white taffeta- with em-
broidered yoke, fingertip veil of
tulle illusion with headdress of
white roses and lily -of -the -valley.
She carried a bouquet of white
roses.
Organist was Stanley Swart,
brother: of the groom.
Following a reception of the
home of. the bride's brother, Kees
Vander Heuvel, Bayfield Road, Mr.
and Mrs. Swart travelled to Sar-
nia where they will make their
home:

The Wingham Metal Fabricating
Company has been awarded the
Contract for hand railing on the
new Auburn bridge, now under
construction.. The contract, was
awarded by the County of Huron,
which is building the bridge.' Work
has already commenced on the job,
which is expected to be ready by
December of this' year. The
Wingham firm'is becoming>well
known for its wrought iron work,
having constructed a similar rail-
ing for the new bridge at Thorn -
