This Week Herman Young, group convener of the WOAA Fastball League announced the 1954 schedule. Five teams will compete this season in- stead of the seven clubs that com- prised the leagim in 1953; Hanover and Luaknow having dropped out. It is quite probable that every team in the league with the ex- ception of Walkerton will start the season with an imported battery and fans should be in for a treat as some of the best fastball pitch- ers in the world will be competing in this league. 'All games are floodlight affairs, and will start at 8.30 p.m. There are no Saturday games scheduled, which will allow the 'teams to play exhibition games that evening. If a regular game is rained out it will be played on the first open night after the rained -out game. Charlie Cotton, the big colored pitcher who played in Hanover for the past couple of seasons, will this' year manage and play for the Goderich Flyers. J.
