London, Ont., Jute 2. -The Liberal
campaign ef education, which pro-
poses to abolish the bar and cerry
out other social legislation, was in-
augurated here yesterday afternoon
with an open air meeting in Queen's
Peak, which was 'addressed by N. W.
Rowell, KO., Liberal leaner, and oth-
ers. George S. Gibbons of London.
was chairman and the meeting was
well attended.
The Liberal leader spent practical-
ly all his time on the temperance is-
sue, explaining in detail what he pro-
posed to do with the bars, the club
licenses, the shops and the general
entoreenient of the law, He gave'
credit to Hon. Mr. Hanna for some
wise amendments to the liquor law
last session and called upon "Sir
James Witney to join him in the
"holy crusade against the licensed
barroom." •

Maty Feat' of Woodstock, and Ernest
Rozell, of Brussels, while little Miss
Mildred Sperling performed the part
of ring bearer, The bride, who is
well dowered by mauve, wore a be-
coming gown of Swiss silk batiste.

grooms gift an emerald pendant and
gold chain was the only ornamerit.
