count of the death of Ur. Joseph Bell,
of Carlow, late treasurer and a resolu-
tion of sympathy for Mr, Thomas Mc-
Millan, of Hullett, on account of his
accident which deprived him of his
hand were passed.

Mr. Proudfoot, M. P. P., Mr.. Thomas
PecMillan,Dr. Shaw and M.Y. McLean.
The following resolution was adopt-
ed after having been spoken to by the
mover and Seconder and by the presi-
dent:

the Centre Huron Liberal Association
desire to express our hearty approval
of the course pursued by the Opposi-
tion in both the Dominion Parliament
and the Ontario Legislature, the for-
mer so ably and skillfully led by our
grand old chieftain, Sir Wilfrid Laur-
ier,ancl the latter with almost equal
abitity and skill by Mr. N. W. Rowell.
We further desire to express our full
approval oi the policy advocated by
the Opposition in both Parliaments
and to express the hope and belief
