in marriage to Mr. McLeod and they

Methodist Church Wingham held a
banquet on Thursday evening in
honor of their retirin teacher, Dr.
W. J. Pelee, host' of Orangeville. A
pleasing feature of the evening was
the presentation by the class to D
Price of a handsome electric reading
lamp, as a token of appreciation of his
efforts for the class. Accompanying
the lamp, was a suitable address.

chains, in early English, upholstered
in brown leather, as a mark of esteem
and appreciation of his services in the
interest of the town,
Mrs. Grace Snell of Bluevale an-
nounces the engagement of her
youngest daughter, Ctara Mabel, to
to Barry' S. VanBuren of Calgary.
The marriage is to take place in. Cen-
tral Metbodist Church, Calgary, in the
