DEAT.4 OF MRS, STEWART On Sunday March 24, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Townsend, of Brantford, Mrs. Stewart, formerly of Victoria Street, Clinton passed away. She had been ailing ail winter, and latter part of Unitary visited Clinton thinking the change might help her. The first few weeks she im- proved in strength but the I ist week of February, she contracted a cold, which in her already feeble condition proved more tha:a the could with atand. Returning to Brantford' the first week in March she gradually weakened and on Wednesday the 20th nit. Symptons coma presented which continued to intensify till Sun- day the 20,h of March, the cloud lifted and she awoke in the Brighter World, Mrs. Stewart will be remembered by many old friends for her cheerful kind disposition. Some from this vicinity attended her funeral in Brantford to Mount Hope Cemetery. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Walter Townsend to mourn the las of an affoetionate mother. A.
