' Mcntreal, Feb, l2. -Mr. Henri Bon-
' Mafia, and his friends appear to be
determineci upon the repeal of the
naval bill, Le Nationalist yesterday
contained a number of iter CWS on
the subject. Sir Rodolphe Forget,
M.P.says: "In reply to, your tele-
gram. I may say that I am in favor
of the repeal of the 'naval law."
" Mr. Honore Adam, M.P. for La-
, belle: "I said during my campaign
, that the measure was a bad one and I
have not changed my opinien. I say
that the law should be repealed."
Mr. J. 0. Lavelle, M.P. for Belle -
chases: "My opinion as to the repeal
of the law has never changed, and I ,
will be in favor of any measure to '

this sense, provided it may be p
ro-
sented in a proper way and not in the
hurried manner as proposed in cer-
tain quarters. The shelving of the
Laurier project and the attitude of the
Government on the question is satis-
factory to me." ,
• Mr. Paul Emile•Lamarche, M.P. for
Nicolet: "Logic 'and sincerity are stall
. the best policies to act upon. The con-
sequence of the 2Ist of September have
not caused me to change my opinion
so often expressed. The law should

been, against the naval bill Cif the

Mr, Joseph Rainyille, M.P. for

'my heart in favor of the repeal of the
naval bill. . As a matter of fact, what
serious ,argument can be lronaht for-
ward favorine itz contintuanee, for
both Imperialists and autonomists
condemn ita In fact, the Imperial au-
thorities ask for nothing else than that
preached by the Nationalists during
the last campaign and the attitude of
the Laurier Government is .all the
more strange, as they had read the"
repeat of the Imperial authorities."
Mr. J. M. Tether, M.P.P. for Jaa

Quebec: "I fought the naval bill and
I have not changed a., opinion

Mr. Jos. Sylvester, M.P. for Mont-
