obliging C. P. R. telepraph opera-
tor here for the past six years, has
resigned her position and will leave
next week for her home in Detroit.

he has relatives residing in Mullett

ily . originally owned the "Weir"
farm just 'south of town and the
family was well known.

brother, Mr,. A. Hopper, over the

not improving as speedily as his
friends would wish to see.

Dr. Harold Taylor, sen of ,Dr, Alex
Taylor of CIodcrieh, and grandson
of Mrs. J. Herr of town, has been
appointed house surgeon at the new
General Hospital in Toronto.. This
is a good appointment and will be
of great value to hi;m. He lids

Goderich for a short time,

the School of Practical Science,
