Jowett
Wins the Minnesota
Trap Shooting Championship.
"At the Siete Trap Shooting Tour-
nament, held at Warroad last Friday
J. W. Jowett of that town won the
amateur championship of the State
of Minnesota. It was a noteable
achievement, as crack shots from all
parts of the State were, competitors
foe the beautiful silver cup which
goes with the championship. Mr.
Jowett becomes the permanent own-
er of the cup.
The contest for the honors was a
very speotacular one, and it finally
developed into a three -cornered tie,
and it was here that Jack showed his
ability and nerve by winning out.
The result was decidedly popular.
The new champion has always been
identified with

only as a participant , but with his
time and money as well„ and the hon-
or could not have fallen on a more
deserving sportsman. Jack 'is car-
