A BAD ACCIDENT.
Last Thursday evening about 5.30
while working in his, father'smill,
Edward Schoenhale, had his right
hand mangled so badly that it had
to be removed and only the thumb
is left, It appears he was in around
the rollers when his hand was
caught in the machinery and only
for the prompt aid of Mr; E, oltz-
hauar it might have been more ser-
ious. The machinery was stopped
and the injured man proved to the
hospital where an operation was
performed at once. At present he
is doing as well as can be expected
During the past few weeks it has
been a trying one on the family as
another son was a sailor on the
lake and was out in the, storm,,but
was one of the fortunate ones'.
We hope the injured man will hare
