Last Thursday evening about 5.30 while working in his, father'smill, Edward Schoenhale, had his right hand mangled so badly that it had to be removed and only the thumb is left, It appears he was in around the rollers when his hand was caught in the machinery and only for the prompt aid of Mr; E, oltz- hauar it might have been more ser- ious. The machinery was stopped and the injured man proved to the hospital where an operation was performed at once.
