Bad Enough to Be Late, but to Be Too Early Is Unforgivable. It is an accepted aphorism that ons should never be late at a duel or a (. flintier. BOMBS FROM THE AIR Dirigible Balloons Add to the Horror of Naval Warfare The Zeppelin dirigibles are so con- structed that they can come to rest on the sea, but they require specia moorings. With even five of these airships searching specified areas from low or medium altitudes in the air it is difficult to see how the battleship can remain undiscovered. The new Plaids being built in Germany will, it is reported, have a speed of nearly sixty miles per hour, and a scope of action of thirteen hundred miles, so that one of these vessels ;vivid itself be quite capable of exploring a very large extent of sea and coast line. These aerial cruisers are to carry no less than eight tons of explosives and improved bomb dropping appliances. The moral effect of the dirigible in sea warfare of the future is bound to be Very great. One can well imagine what an outcry there would be were a Dreadnought to be put out of action by the bombs of an airship, and yet Serve Subpoena on President. such an occarr'ence is by 110 means impossible. The man in the battle- ship has already an anxious time of It, knowing as he does that he has to avoid the attentions of the sub- marine, the mine, and the torpedo. But now, that the airship has been added to all these terrors, the .,extra train that will be thrown upon the allor's nerves will be almost unbear- able.—Chambers Journal. LITTLE BiY1 was so is1 CK Did Not 'Think He Could Live. CHOLERA INFANTUM WAS THE CAUSE. This trouble is the most dangerous of all the summer complaints of children. It begins with a profuse diarrhoea; the stomach becomes irritated, and the child is soon reduced to great languor and prostration. Cholera Infantum can be speedily cured by the use of DR.
