Mrs. James Duffield, for over forty.
years a resident of London, died last
Sunday evening of the home of her
daughter, Mrs. J. C. Roe. She bad
been ill for five months. Mrs. Duf-
field name to Wingham withhusband,
the late dames Duffield, He d'ed
about four years ago.
Mrs Duffield is survived by two
daughters, Mrs. Roe, of Wingham,
Mrs, F H, Heath; of Hamilton, and
three sons, all in the States: Mr. J.
A. Duffield, of London, is a nephew.
The funeral was held on Tuesday, the
services being conducted by Rev. E,
H. Choly, of the Anglican Church, of
which deceased was a lifelong member,

Crown Attorney Seager reports that
no word has yet been received from
the provincial analyst in the Jones
case. The Huron authorities removed
the internal organs of the late ,Fred
Jones, of Brussels, in .consequence of
rumors of poisoning, and sent them to
Prof. Ellis: at Toronto, Jones died
suddenly while on his way bome in a
buggy a couple of weeks ago.

Exeter lost one of its oldest and
most esteemed residents in the ,death
of Mr. RichardCroker, which occurred
at his residence Tuesday . morning He
was in his 80th year, and had lived in
Exeter nearly all his life. He is sur-
vived by his 'widow. two; sons Roger
