EDITOR INJURED AGAIN.
Aldo W, B, Burgoyne, of 50.1-:m,see..,r,,>:,;, mmer,ver.a.„ ,®,,,.,oay.
Oatharinee, editor or the Standard,!
was the victim of a most unfortunate
accident test b'riday night. Ex'.lid
Petrie had been calling on Ald, Elm
goyne, and the latter joined him in a
ride in his car to see his garden, It
was fairly dusk, about S 30, when
Mr. Petrie's residence was reached,
The lot is terraced at the rear, and
not noticing the slope of the terrace
the alderman slipped and fell as dis-
tsnce of about five feet, striking on
his left, shoulder. The pant was very
severe and Mr, Petrie was naturally
alarmed lest Che force of the fall
might have done injury to the wound
left from the recent operation. He
lost no time in taking Ald. Burgoyne
to his home, and Dr, Warlock was
summoned. Fortunately no injury
was apparent to the pact operated
'upon; and the dotter gave his at,
tention to the shoulder, He feared
that the shoulder bone was broken
and made arrangements to have 'the
patient examined under the X-rays,
after making hirci as comfortable as
posihle. Ald Burgoyne was recover-
ing satisfactorily from his late oper-
ation, and was locking forward soon
to resuming his duties at the office.
This unfortunate happening will set
him back for another few weeks.
