ST. PAUL'S CHURCM.
',J, VV. I-lodgens, rector of St,
Paul's churchStratford, will con-
duct the services' in this church next
Sunday.
A handsome window in mernory of

placed in the , churoh.
The excavation in connection with
the erection, of an addition to the
echool house is finished, and the
work is being pushed along.
WOMEN'S INSTITUTE OUTING.
The Women's Institute picnicked at
Goderieh one day last week and had
a , very pleasant outing. The ladies
drove to -the county town, enjoyed the
lake hgeezes and had an excellent
supper, for did not these experts
themselves prepare it ? and then the
pleasure cif the drive home in the ev-
ening. Such an outing breaks the
monotony of the „daily grind and adds
to the length and the pleasure of life.
THE LEADER ALL RIGIIT.
Both services in Trinity ehurcli last
Sunday were more than bright and a
goodly part of this is due to the deep
interest taken in the choir by the
leader, Mr. W. Glenn Campbell. The
anthem at the evening service proves
that the choir le_ader is doing excell-
ent work. In:addition to this a
quartette "All Hail" composed by
'Mrs. W. Glenn Campbell was ren(ler-
ed in excellent voice.—Aylmer Ex-
press. -
ANOTHER VICTORY.
The local lacrosse aggregation de-
feated the Mitchell team at the .atter
place on Friday evening last by a
score of 0-1. The play was just a
little inclined:to be scrappy as some-
times happens 'unless the referee is
fair rind square and on to his job. The
locals lined up as follows : goal, W..
