le. not 'complaining, of short crops
tine season. This is uspeeially true
with regard tp „coin as kr. Cook
has a Atte held of it which at the
presenit time measures nearly five
feet in height, -sonse stalks, coming
fully up to that, mark. Ae the crop
does not reach its limit for some
months, yet tide is certainly doing
very well. All the crops in this good
old township -ere fine, the fall
wheat especially so. The trecent
rairis were just what was needed for
the spring grain and with the ex-
ception of the hay, which M some
cases was light and short, the yield
of crops will be good and at pre-
sent there seems nothing to prevent
the reaping or a 'bumper harvest.
