I claim, Mr. Editor, that if the
Citizens will consider the two men
now in the field as it should be'.con-
sidered, Mr. Ford, with n long" and
faithful record in the Council and a
good citizen whom you know just
where to find on all matters; he
should have the honor of being
Reeve after sox long a service as
Councillor, against Mr. Taylor, who
has had all the honors that the
citizens of Clinton could bestow. If
Mr. Taylor is so interested' in Clin-"
ton's 'welfare, let him go back to
the Board as a Councillor as Mr.
Wiltse did after being Mayor fot
two years, andwork up again.
