were very prominent members of

from his son Ernest who is being
detained In Germany. He says
that he is allowed hie iberty so
long as he reports himself once in
twenty _four hours,. but he dare not
move out of the city or he would
be shot. Ernest MacMillan is a
student of the University ,of Tor-
onto, and was taking courses in
musical composition in G-ermany
