The work of cutting grass and weeds on streets has not been finished on account of having to take men to build macadam roads ; however macadam road has been finished from Waverly corner to Victoria street and also to freight sl•.ed. This is( certainly a good piece of work and will be a great benefit to teams going to and from freight sheds with heavy loads at present. Men are finishing the cutting _of grass and weeds on streets. 1Ve recommend that Clerk be instructed to notify f1. T. R. company that road on their pro- perty opposite froiglrt shed is almost impassable and request them E• to send in gravel and repair their part of the road at once: If this was done wowould have ano.(1 street to freight sheds. We also recommend twat 10 or 12 8 inch, tile be put on Mary street opposite J. P. Shepherds property.
