berg, of St. Louis, is the.,bass,tand
he has had much experilence.. in
grand opera. Mr. Eichenberger is
a real lyric tenor. Mr: :Breach not

fingers, Mrs. Thomas Cook, an

and strike a light • when death
came. She had 'found a !match and
was undoubtedly in the act of
lighting a lamp when she became
weak and 'tell on the bed, where
her body was 'found. Besides her
son, three daughters surviv3e. They
are Mrs. E. Blacker, and Mrs G.
Hummel, both of Clinton, and Mrs.
Marlow of. Goderich. The funeral
was held' en Sunday. Interment
being made at the Bayfield came
