Ability, if you do not treat it in time it will develbp into bronchitis, pneutnonie, or someother serious throat or lung trouble. Dr. Wood's Norway Pine Syrup is particularly adapted for all colds, coughs, bronchitis, pneumonia, asthma, whoop - :ng cough and all troubles of the throat and lungs. Three points in favour of Dr, Wood's Norway Pine Syrup are: 1. Its action is prompt, 2. It invigorates as well as heals, and soothes the throat and lungs, 1. It its pleasant; harmless 'and agreeable in taste. Mrs, • Albert \Tait, Brockville . Many merchants are daily revolving this question in '►heir minds and the general opinion seems to be that it 'does, The successful merchant answers this question and declares that without a /doub't itmost as- suredly pays- to tadvertise,' 1f it does not pay, why do the large dleparrtmentalstores' of Toronto, Montreal and 'the big cities of the United States advertise so largely? They have done it and have there- by built up large and massive firms. Perhaps the best answer to this question is that the Maxwell Mo- tor, Co, spent $50,000 for advertis- ing in one day by placing ads in 65 leading dailies oil the Unitred States and .the Willys Overland Motor Co. spent $800,000 in adver. Rising last year. The 'heads of these firms are shrewd business men and they certainly would pot spend this money if it diel not bring re- turns. DEATH OF DR BALFOUR.
