On Friel v..
r ay evening' of this week the
Photo Drama of "The, Citation" will
be shoaam in the Princess Theatre es
an addition to regular 5 reel pro-
gnann,
Thrilling scenes depicted with the
realism of acutal life follow closely in
the beautiful film -story of 'the life of
the' Great Teacher . of then shown in
Part q'hree of ' the Photo Drama
of Creation Marvelous cheers have
been produced by the skillful camera
operators, ,A startling illusion is pro-
duced when the Christ is shown walk-
ing on the water amidst the boister-
ous waves. Trow this effect has been
accomplished is a mystery to the
spectators.
Human sympathy is touched as
one views the great orowds following
the Master, soliciting His assistance
in the opening of blinded eyes, heal-
ing twisted and s;rivelled limbs and
curing their other ills. Majestically
the Great leacher moves among the
multitudes, bringing consolation to the
minds and comfort to the bodies of
the distressed.
Tears are brought to many eyes by
the touching story of the raising of
the daughter of Jairuts, the ruler of
the Synagogue. The devoted father is
seen imploring the Master to conte to
his aid anis restore his daughter, who
lies at the point of death. Comply-
ing with the request, the Lord ac-
companies the father ; and they jour-
ney toward his dwelling, followed by
a great concourse of people including
some who have been, previously heal-
ed.
As they approach the house a ser-
vant runs to tell the father that it is
useless to trouble the' blaster further
as the child has passed away. . The
anguish of the IIebrew father is path-
etic, Calmly Jesus enters the apart-
ment where the maid lies dead, gent-
ly he raises up the weeping mother,
and after prayer, awakens the dead
one front the sleep of death and
presents her to the first incredulous
and then overjoyed parents,
A beautiful harmony of word and ac-
tion
stion is sccueed by the simultaneous
rendition of the "Les Rameaux" and
the filet which shows the Lord enter-
ing Jerusalem on the colt, the 10011 -
Wide strewing the way with flowers
and voicing their praise in song. The
actions and gesturers of the people are
mado to synchronize with the hymn.
The betrayral of the Son of Man
by tate hypocritical kiss of the de-
spicable Judas produces a shedder in
the audience. The trial before the
High Priest .and Pilate is realistical-
I} portrayed. in strong contrast is
Jesus' calm powerful demeanor: to
the lreneied and fanatical rage of the
mob arid the weakness of the Roman
governor, who finally condemns to
death en innocent man to appease the
unreasoning. throng.
