Mr, Henry Streets, who first saw
• the light of day in 11ncolnshirC,
England, sixty -once years ago and
was the first born of a family of lir-,
, teen, died on Monday last,
He took up railroad wort: at
fourteen and was 'thus el.tgaged for
forty -ono years, for some time as sec-
tion boss on the 18. & 0. Railway.
Four of his btothers, c at Buffalo, are
aisb railroaders.
It is nineteen months since Mrs.
Streets passed away so there now
remains but their three sons, Wil-
liam, Calvin and Milton.9
The funeral took place yesterday
afternoon, the services being eclduct•-

two years.

and Port Arthur. For the past two
years, during his protracted illness,,

four o'clock Tuesday afternoon, con-
ducted by Rev. Dr. Rutledge and Rev

DEATH AGAIN VISITS THEM.
On Sunday last Bertha M., yotmg
C daughter aughter of Dr. Gunn was called
to her long home after a few weees
illness. This is the third time in a
few years that death has visited this
home and to the stricken family the
sincere sympathy of the whole come
triunity goes out.
The funeral took place on Tuesday,
the services at home and graveside
being conducted by Rev. Dr. Stewart.

was born in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, Delighteth to•Honor.

frozen. Some of the seeders took
their wheat to Kingston to have it
ground and one wonrall, one of the
very earliest settlers ill this section,
told of how she had lived for two
years without seeing bread or any-
thing made from white flour. Mr.
Robb described a mortar, made by
hollowing out a very large stump, in
which corn was pounded to snake
meal for "Johnny cake," etc.
There was nn such thing as appendi-
citis in those days," remarked Mr.
Robb, "nor many another of the We

Trill brothers, the father and uncles
of "Jho" Bill, the American rail-
