A disastrous fire occurred last Sat -

mill .was totally destroyed. The fire

TENDERS FOR WOOD LIMIT.
Traders will be received by the un-
dersigned up to and including Monday
the 8th day of June, 1911, -for right
to out wood of various descriptions
on a certain area tributary to the
Frederickhouse and Abitibi Rivers in
the District of Temiskarning.
Tonderers shail state the amount
they are prepared to iay as bonus in
addition to the ordinary Crown dues,
including; 40e, per cord for Spruce,
and 200. per cord for other pulpwood,
Or such other rates as may from
time to time be fixed by the Lieuten-
ant -Governor in Council, for the right
to operate wood products mills on or
near the area referred to,
Such tendorers shall be required to
erect a mill or mills on or near the
territory, and to manufacture the
wood into products thereof in the
Province of Ontario.
• Partied making tender will be re-
quired to deposit with their tender a
marked cheque payable to the Hon-
ourable the Treasurer of the Province
of Ontario, for ten percent, of the
amount of their tender, to be forfeit-
ed in the event of their not entering,
into an agreement to carry out the,
conditions, etc. s

cessarily accepted.
