illness and sympathize; with hint in
the loss of time from his studies
which means so much to a student
at ,this time of the year, but it is
hoped his recovery Will now be ra-

Miss Alice Bell was in London this
week attending the meeting of the
Canadian Music Teachers' Asaocia-
(ion.
Mrs. Maria Best, a lifelong resident

teemed, left for London on Monday
and will in future reside with her

here a couple of months ago.

services on Sunday. The Sunday
school had charge' of the services in
the Methodist church, in the morning,
a special program of Easter musical
selections, solos, etc., • was rendered
,b'y the members of the school. In the)
evening the pastor preached a sermon
appropriate to the season - and the
choir furnished Easter' ,music. The
church was prettily decorated.
The service in the Presbyter'an
church was in the afternoon and was
conducted by the pastor, Rev. John
Reid', wlio preached a most inspiring
sermon. Messrs. Ltounsbury, Geddes
and. Rn:d rendered a trio in fine voice
at the service,

mise of Mx.. J. A. Taylor, who passed
