Mr. and Mrs. Cranston left Friday for Toronto to spend a few days before returning to their home in Port Arthur. Mr. J. T. Eninierton and little son of Bervie were the guests of the former's father, Mr. John Emmer- ton, on Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. H. Wilson and children of Stratford were Christmas guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jas, Connell of Godcrich township. Mr. and Mrs. Isreal Taylor of, Lon- don ondon were the guestsof the lady's father, Mr. James Stevens of town. on Christmas Day. Mr. and' Mrs. W. T. Shillington of Windsor were holiday guests at Wesley parsonage, the parental home of Mrs. Shillington. Master Gordon and Miss Lela Mc- Cartney are spending the holidays with their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. J. Cram of Milton St., Strat- ford. The annual Christmas tree enter- tainment was held in the Methodist church on Christmas night and, was very successful. The program was well put on and was much en:oyed by :the large audien_e present. A couple of drills and a tableau by the young men's and young women's classes were very much enjoyed. The proceeds aipounted to about fifty- four dollars. Hr. Wm. Brogden of Winnipeg is. visiting his parents here. Miss M. Lyon is spending New - Years with London friends. Mr. W.
