Mr. A. P. Torrance has been up from
Toronto for the vacation tieie and
is being joined by Mrs. Torrance
and little Miss Margaret who will
remain over New Year's.

Montreal have been spending the
holiday season with the former's
parents, Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Fut-
. ledge at Wesley parsonage.
Mr. acct Mrs. D. W. L. Canteloncame
up from Toronto Christmas Eve
and spent the festive holiday at
the parental home of the former,
that of Mr. and Mrs. P. Cantclon,
Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Collyer and fam-
ily were up From London for the
festive holiday. Mr. Collyer return-
ed to the city on Saturday but Mrs
Collyer and little ones remained
for a longer visit with the 1'ady's;
parents, Mr. and Mrs. 'James
Steep.
Mr. John Cantclon, who has been in.
the. west for a year or more but,
has becu. spending a vacation at,
his home in town, has been trans,:
ferrel from the Lethbridge, Alta,,
to the London branch of the Mol

est City on Friday of this week.

if., visited over Christmas with Mr.

weeks at their home here. .
The annual Christmas tree enter-
tainment was held in the Methodist
church on Christmas night and, was
very successful. The program was
well put on and was much en:oyed
by :the large audien_e present. A
couple of drills and a tableau by the
young men's and young women's
classes were very much enjoyed. The
proceeds aipounted to about fifty-
four dollars.

A pretty wedding took place at the -

mas Day when her daughter, Rachel,
became the bride of Mt. Bert Brown.
of Brantford. The ceremony was
performed by Rev. John Reid, pas -
tot of the Presbyterian church, ir•
the presence of only the immediate
families. The bridal co'aple were un-
attended except by little Miss Ctara,
the bride's sister, who acted as.

moon trip to Niagara Falls and ole
