As this is cents of the parte* the couutry where beams have been ex tensively grown for sonie, years it may be of interest to some iu other parts of the country to know bow growers got along the past season. July and August were so wet thet. many des paired of reaping any but many clid fairly well after all. East Of the Lon don Road two or three miles they were almest failure. For two or three miles on west of the London Road they yielded about six or seven bushels to the acre. At tbree dollars per bushel this wasn't too bad. On the Parr Line the yield event up to sixteen bushels vvith better prices and the returns made the 'farmers smile but hack on the Goshen Line tbe yield went as high as twenty two bushels in Home cases and the growers were escultant. One man near Brucefield got; $3.50 per bushel. Some are look ing for $400. An American firm mile in and con tracted with many farineie to grow colored beans for them $1.90 a bushel They in some eases as nanch as 50' per cent for waste or as no good.
