tion to become pastor of Ontario

CASES IN NORTH HURON.
That the officers of the law in
North Huron are doing their duty
may be judged from the fact that
from the first of August until the
15th of November there were 11
cases tried in ednneetion with the
violations of the liquor laws. In-
spector Mitchell and the other of-
ficers are doing their best to see
that the law is properly observed.
FLOUR GOES UP.
There has been another advance
I1in the price of flour, word being
received from the 'whol'esalers
Wednesday morning of a 10 -cent
raise per hundred on Manitoba
flour. Only a week ago there Was
a i6 -cent raise on all flours, Whole
seers were Tunable Wednesday
morning to guarantee the present
prices for 21 hours. Retail mer-
chants will raise their prices pro-
porionately, els there is a very
small margin, they say, on flour
at any time.
