Heart Would Beat Violently.
Nerves Seemed to. Be Out of Order.
The heart always works in sympathy
with the nerves, and unless the heart is
working properly the whole nerve system
is liable to become unstrung, and the
heart itself become affected.
Milbum's Heart and Nerve Pills will
build un the unstrung nervous system,
and strengthen the weak heart, so that
the sufferer will enjoy the very best of
health for years to come.
Mrs. John N. Hicks, Huntsville, Ont,,
writes: "I am sending you my testimony
for the benefit I have received from using
Milburn's Hear and Nerve Pills. As a
nerve and heart builder they have done
wonders for ire. At times my heart
would beat violently, and my nerves
seemed to be all out of order, but after
using a few boxes of Milburn's Heart and
Nerve Pills I feel like recommending
them to others that they might receive
benefit as I did."
lelilbum's Heart and Nerve Pills have
been on the market for the past twenty-
five years, and are universally considered
to be unrivalled as a medicine for all
disorders of the heart or nerves.
Milburn's Heart and Nerve Pills are
50e per box, 3 boxes for $1.25, at all
dealers or mailed direct on receipt of
price by The T, Milburn Co., Limited,

Red Cross nurses will have a good
right to have their names recorded in the
Temple of Fame when the war is over.
They have proven themselves heroines
indeed.
Oscar II may be a' good ship to send

we hardly think the allies are satisfied at
this minute to cease hostilities. There
are a few little things to settle up before

British. Conditions Not Analogous.
T1u parallei of the British Par-
liament is being cited by the Gov-
ernment press as en argument in
favor of the extension of the life
of the( Canadian Parliament for at
least a hill year after the conclus-
ion of peace. It may ne poinned
out that the conditions in the old
count y' have been' by. no meats
analogous to the conditions in
Canada. in the motherland, in

been consu'tcd in the conduct cf

two abortive attempts were made
to spring' an election, and these
attempts, were almost kuceessful,
and were frustrated only either by
constil,utionali stumbling blocks or.
by thea protest c f t public opinion
and a lete disererton on the part
of the Prime Minister, Moreover,

It, is further being stated in the
Government; press that the refusal
of ,Sin Wilfrid Laurier to consent!
to thea ho ding of all bye -elections
by acclamation is another, reason

with. As matter of fact, there
has been no such speeific refusal
to consider ae;lamah0n. But in
this, case as in the case of the ex-,
tension of lame, Sir Wilfrid natur-
ally wants t know what is go-
ing to happen.
What of These Vacancies?
Font of the vacancies have been
caused by the resignation of Con-
servative members. In King's, N.
S,, and in Carleton , Ont., Messrs.
Foster and Garland r'signect pea, -
fleetly ueder compufsioa, because
they had been implicated in war

has oeen given that the a mem-
tern wi1J not one and all again
seek re-election. In fac', it is
known that ho;.h Mr. Foster tied
Mr. Garland are again out after
the nomination, and it is credibly.

In the casSs of the vacancies
rinsed Through death, ninae'y. in
Hamilton, Restigou:,he and' Prince,
P.. E. 1., there is, of course, no dis-
ageeement, and these 'vacancies
may be filled by acclamation when

Itis plain, hot;'ever, that incon-
nec•tion with the four other con
stittiencies. Sir Wilfrid Laurier:

party and the constituencies to
