Anyone desiring to send boxes
to soldiers in the trenches should
follow these instructions; Place
the goods in a tin box and seal
tightly. The geode must not
weigh more than 11 pounds and
each article in' the box should be
wrapped in paper. On the outside
of the' box mark plainly what is
inside, as eatables, smokes, etc,
The charges' are 40c for the first'
pound and Dight cents for every
extra! pound.
HYDRO LINE STARTS
FOR EXETER.
Work was commenced last week
on the new hydro line from St.
Marys to Exeter. The main power
tine will run from St. Marlys tlo
Exeter largely by way of what is
known as the St. Marys road,ass-
ing through Woodmee and Kirk
ton. East of Woodliaiu a branch
will run effete Grantee. Frani the
Exeter distributing station it is
proposed to build a line back the
bike road to Dashwood, with a
branch running south from near
Sodom to Crediton, and one .runn-
ing north from Sareptu to Zurich

Huron held a meeting at Goderieh
