Wednesday was the annual dollar

proved a great success. In spite of the
bad roads it was far ahead of last year,
All the forenoon a steady stream . or
horses and vehicles came to town from
all directions, some of the people driv

here, and it was stated that some bet

farmers were afraid to bring them
over the bad roads. Col. McEwen and
Dr. Tamiyn, of Loudon, saw a fine lot
of horses in the yards of A. H. Wil

eral for army purposes at prices rang
ing from 0150 up. All was quiet and
no accidence rowdyism occurred. The
committee in charge was: A. H, Wil
