Hullett Township Mr. Robert McMichael left last week for his home at Fargo, North Dakota, after spending a month with his brothers, sisters and old friends in this vicinity. It is thirty-one years sines Mr. McMichael left this section and this was his first return visit to the old house county. It is almost needless to nay the visit was One of very great enjoyment to himself and other members of the fancily, also his old friends and schoolmates. Alr. McMichael is the eldest son of the first the s McMichael, Thomas late o a reeve of Htlliett township, and a man very well known 1n the old town- ship, and a brother of Messrs. Thos. and James McMichael, the well-known Horsemen. Another of the old resident's of East. Wawanosh, in the person of John Sturdy, one of the most hi,;hly re- spected residents of that township, was laid to rest on Sunday. The de- ceased was born in the county of Fermanagh, Ireland. About 'sixty years ago he was mar- ried 1n Clinton and moved onto the farm lot 0 9 concession one, o a which farm he died, having reached the ad- vanced age of eighty-nine years. Mr. Sturdy look an active part in Politics, being a statm'h Conserva- tive, and is religion a member of the Anglican Church.
