prominent and pcpular
citizen in the person of
Mr. Joseph Rattenbury
who passed away on
Sunday rooming after
an illness which had
confined him to his bed
only a fortnight, He was 511 years
old.
His father, the late William Raton-
bnry, was one of the first settlers in
Clinton, hiss little inn, situated where
now stands the Molson Bank, giving,
Clinton its mune, Rattenbury's Cor-
pus. Joe was the youngest oink' and
all his life was epent here, He was
born in the house now occupied by
Di', Handier.

afternoon from St. Paul's cluneh, Rev
0. R. Gunn% of London; and'Rev.
Robinson coeducting the service. The
Masonic Brethren conducted the ser-
vice at the grave.

Mr. Joseph Rattenbury
who passed away on
Sunday rooming after
an illness which had
confined him to his bed
only a fortnight, He was 511 years
old.
His father, the late William Raton-
bnry, was one of the first settlers in
Clinton, hiss little inn, situated where
now stands the Molson Bank, giving,
Clinton its mune, Rattenbury's Cor-
pus. Joe was the youngest oink' and
all his life was epent here, He was
born in the house now occupied by
