A Successful Afternoon. • The Girls Club of Willis church had a successful lawn tea and bazaar at the Manse grounds on Saturday afternoon,, The proceeds of the tea went to the Patriotic Fund. Goderich, June 19. —A special meeting of Huron County Council was held this afternoon to take up the question and pass a by-law to adopt the plan of the good roads system as prOvlded by the Ontario Government, Mr. Hoggarth, of Toronto, Was pres- ent and full' explained the system and its working as is dune in outer come- , ties.
