lin, president of the Grand Trunk Rail-
way Company, has been granted three
months' leave of absence, and when
Mr. Chamberlin, who has been ill, is
able to travel will leave on an extended
trip. '

Mr. Chantberlin's contract with the
Grand Trunk Railway expired in May,
