I' used "Anuric," the Most discovery of Doctor Pierce for backache anti kidney troubles, and I can cheerfully recommend the "Anuric Tablets" to anyone suffering from any of these maladies. Yours truly, J. F. Genets/3. N ItIss seem now asserted with con- fidence that these ppainful effects due to uric sold in the systole aro entirely creel- cated. A now r,.medy,:eailod "Amurlu" has been discovered by Dr. Pierce, and is the cause of r drainage outward of the uric acid with which it comet In contact within the body. It will ward of/ back- ache, headache, and the darting pains and aches of articular or muscular rheuma- tism -of those diseases which are caused by too much uric acid, such as gout, asthma, sciatica, renal calaulu„ An- uric" prolongs life because olJ people usu- ally suffer from hardening and thickening of the walls of the arteries, due to the excess of uric acid in the blood and tissues. Dr, Pierce, who is director and chief physician at the Invalids' Hotel. and Surgical Institute, Buffalo, N. Y., has been testing this wonderful medicine for the relief of over-worked and weakened kidneys. The relief obtained by sufferers has been so satisfactory that ho deter- mined to place "Anuric" with the prin- cipal druggists in town - where people could get this ready -to -use medicine, "Anuric" is not harmful or poisonous, but aids stature in throwing off those poisons within the body which cense 80 much suffering pain and misery. Benton, N. B. June 7th. 1917—A great many people sufi'er the results of deranged kidneys and do not un- derstand the cause of trouble or the way to obtain cure. The writer of this letter suffered excruciating pains in the back and in vain Isis physician tried to cure him, For some reason or other his medicines did not have the desired effect. Mr. Olts' brother was a merchant selling, among other medicines, Dr, Chase's Kidney -Liver Pills, and he heard his customers telling about how they were cured of kidney derange- ments by their .ase, This led to Mr. Ohs putting them to the test, with the splendid results reported in this letter. Mr. E. C. Olts, Benton, Carleton County, N. 13., writes: "I am glad to let you know how much your medi- cine has done for me. I suffered from my kidneys, which at one time were so bad 1 could not lift a stick of wood without getting on my knees, and then would almost faint from the pain in my back. 1 consulted a doctor about it, and he gave me some medi- cine, but it did not help me. My brother, wifo is a merchant, and car- ries all your medicines, advised me to try Dr. Chase's Kidney -Liver Pills, I got one box, and they helped me, so 1 got another one, and kept on until 1 had tilken five boxes, which cured me, I have had no trouble with my back since, and am never without Dr. Chases's Kidney -Liver Pills in the house. Last summer I also suffered from piles. f used three boxes of your Ointment, and it cured them, 1 can certainly recommend Dr. Chase's Pills and Ointment, Dr, Chases's Kidney -Liver Pills, one pili a dose, 25c a box, 5 for 111.00, at all dealers, or ldranson, Hates 6C Co., Limited, "Toronto. There i t w Under This Roof Have you ever had a fine job cf decorating spoiled by a leaking roof? If you have, you certainly arc in a position to appreciate the value of a roof that is positively water -proof. Some o: the troubles common to wooden shingles to -day are that they are apt to split, warp or blow oft' as well as Ieak, soon after they are put on. Years ago they were good, but the quality has since gradually depreciated as the available supply of suitable timber became exhausted. . Brantford Slates have none of the faults of wooden shingles. They cannot rust. They do not above rain to be driven under them as do metal roofs. They do not require rigid supporting as do the common tile or slate roofs. On the other hand Brantford Slates afford the utmost protection with little weight. They are made on a long -fibred felt "base" which is thoroughly saturated under pressure with asphaltum or mineral pitch. Crushed quarried slate particles are then leanly embed- ded in the surface of this "base", making it water -tight and fireproof. ntf d '.g Brantford Slates are made in the natural slate colors of green, red, black and grey. The colors never fade and the slates do not require painting nor repairing. These slates are pliable and fit readily around gables and into the angles of any roof. This means a continuous roof without seams or joints. Sparks die on Brantford Slates. When you have these slates "on" you are done with the job. Remember they don't require painting or staining and may be selected to harmonize with al- most any exterior color design, and the price is not beyond your reach.
