Bonds 'rhe Torono Globe says that a man the other day wanted to sell a hundred - dollar Victory bond. Being inexperi- enced, instead of offering it to a reg- ular bond dealer he approached a man who advertised that die was in the mar- ket for the purchase of Victory bonds. The price offered was 1190. When the bond holder remarked that at the time he had purchased he had been inform- ed he could obtain the price origin- ally paid if he wished later to dis- pose of his holding, the dealer declar- ed that 690 was the best price ruling. The holder of the bond wisely con- sulted a friend connected with a well- known financial farm and learned that the actual market price was $99, or 34 cents above the figure he had originally paid for it. This man's experience is not an isolated case.
