A great many are now coir. ing to Scotland, and we want to try and help them gel the most out of their leave by seeing the most of the best in the short time at their disposal.. 1 ant getting some men here to organize as voluntary guides to show men around this city, which is just teeming with historical interest. Also we want to find homes here that will show hospit- ality to men on leave, and give them a good impression of Scotland and the Old Country, Further, we want to.ar- range for trips . to Glasgow, Ayr, Clyde, Loch Lomond, ' Stirling, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, etc. This is a beautiful country especially in Sumpter 1 expect to be here for a month or more and then return to London. I was sorry to, leave our home in London evetj ,for a month or so, we were so comfortable and had such a good cook wlio fixed things tap so that we scarce- ly realized the were living on rations. In fact rationing does not effect one's living but very little, in fact the Drs. say there are fewer sick people now, than before rationing, and there Inas never been in England's history so few people really hungry, • It is a case of taking from the rich and giving to tine poor.
