What minor drawbacks there were would, the committee was satisfied, disappear as those affected learned stow to ad- just themselves to the change in time, Following are extracts from the report •' of the committee, a lengthy document, summarizing their conclusions under the various headings, Public Health. , The question of "How Can We assist in Greater Production" was taken up • by Reeve Ford, Town Clerk D, tv- Pherson and John Ransford, each giving plans that have been followed in outer places, After a thorough dis- cussion the following motion was car- ried when moved by J. Ransford and Mayor 'Thompson:—'That a Committee consisting of Messrs, S. J, Andrews, Reeve Ford and William Grnt, be up - pointed to look into the matter of cultivation of unused farm property adjacent to the bumf, in order that the town people may do their utmost in the campaign for greater production, and that the Committee be asked to report et• the next meeting of the Board. Mr. Ransfa'd spoke on the platter of the change in the railway connect- ions for Clinton. He said that the L., H, & B. would have two trains re- placed in the near futtive, which would probably run on the old time 10.30 a. 11. and 4,15 p.m, The other changes talked about were the changing of the morning train to leave here about 6.35 which would get to Toronto at, about 10.45 a m. The 3 train would gn right on from Stratford with no wait, and no express would be taken on :after Stratford, and train would arrive in Toronto about 7.30 p.m. A motion by A. T.
