A Dress or Suit -no matter how good its style and tailoring -is no better than its cloth.
A little stretching, a few wrinkles, will ruin the most fashionably cut, finely tailored gown
ever made.
Only an expert can accurately judge the quality of a piece of dress goods by inspecting
a piece of the cloth. But when that cloth is made up into a garment, its quality quickly
shows to everybody, Every piece of

Worth the Price
A million and a half tons of coal is a
lot of fuel, Lind it was consumed last
year because mankind, enslayed to the
clock and tied up by habit, chooses to
sleep after daylight and work after
dark, rather than undertake the trouble
of shifting the hours of labor during
seasons of the year when practical good
sense commends such, a change. The
proposal that we save daylight involves
a great deal more than merely fooling
ourselves by tampering with the clock.
There is •i lot of coal at stake and a
lot of Hydro power needlessly used in
Ontario in artifically lighting shops in
the late afternoon so that men may

Why February Is So Short
9La11v people wonder why February
should have only 28 days, It original-
ly had 3o, but when the name of the
month of August was changed from
Sextilis to August, in honor of Enlperor
Augustus, it was considered that a
month so greatly honored should be
given an extra day. At the sante time
people felt it would be hardly fitting
to lengthen this month and not
lengthen the month of July, which
was named after the mighty Julian
1 easer. 'Therefore it was decided
to lengthen both months, and two days
were taken from February to do this.
