The. old council was returned by
acclamation on Monday at the nom-
ination and consists of the following

The dance held in the hall on Tues-
day evening under the auspices of the
Patriotic Society was a great suc-
cess. The Armstrong .Orchestra -fur-
nished. the music and »Mr. J. West-
lake acted as (look manager. Guests
were present from Clinton, Goderich,
Grand Bend, Bcnniller , and other
points. The proceeds amounted 10
over sixty dollars.
