Dr. Rutledge, of Goderich, and a former pastor took the services and preached two line sermons. The offi- cial Board asked for an offering of 5500 and'aiearly 5700 was placed on the plates. Special music was furnish- ed by the choir, and solos were given by Miss Beatrice Greene and Miss Lyttle, of Goderich. Rutherford has placed his resignation in the hinds of his session and the matter will come before the Presbytery of Maitland at its meeting in St. Helens, the 27th of , this month. ! It is reported that Rev. W H. Graham, of Stratford, will be the next president of the London Conference. Maitland Presbytery has sustained a call from St. Helen's and East Ash- field in favor of Rev.
