Died In California
Word was received here on Christ-
mas day of the sudden death of James
Ferguson, of Re rands, California,
who had passed away suddenly Christ-
mas eve•at the age of 76 years and
9 'months. He was a former resident
of Godericlt Township and in Clinton
and 18 years ago went to California,
He is survived by three daughters;
Mrs. 'W. J. Carter and Mrs, Thomas
Caldwell, of Clinton, and Miss Clara
Ferguson, . of Stratford and one son,
J. C., now In California. Mr. Janes
Ferguson, of Baylield is a brother of
the deceased. He will be burled in
