The New Era last week overlooked the item relating to the death uf Alfred Hewett in 'Toronto, on Sunday March 71h. The late Mr. Hewitt was book- keeper in the Doherty Piano Co., for some years. He was an Engllkhman by birth and is survived by his wife and a young family. The funeral was.. held last Thursday from the crape o Stonehonte & Son, and interment was made In Prospect Cemetery. The de-. ceased died in the Toronto General Hospital. He was a Mason and the members of that Society had charge uf the funeral arrangements. We under- stand Mrs. Hewitt and fancily will return to' England.
