that Mrs. Stephen Bodoney, nee Miss
Etta Mennen, and daughter of Mr. and

ton, had glassed away from influenza,
leaving her infant son. She was' 20
years of age.
Wilson McSherry Dead.
Word was received last week that
Mr. Wilson McSherry, had died in Tar-
anto, following 1n attack of the "flu".
Wilson fonlerly worked for Dr. Gunn

Hydro Was Off.
From shortly after one o'clock Tues-
day horning Hydro was a "missing
link" until nearly noon. Outside
trouble was the cause.
Re -Appointed as Director,
Last week Mr. James Stlell was re-
appointed las a Director of the Canadian
Sheep Breeders' Association, at the an-
nual meeting held at Toronto.

Passed Away.

u'ctusk, Mrs, Morgan Ageew passed
away. Iler maiden name was Mud Os-
borne, :old was married to her now
bereft partner some years ago. Besides
her husband, a baby girl, a few weeks
old, survives, besides her mother. The
funeral was. held on Monday afternoon
and the services were conducted by
Rev. 3. 0. Hogg, and the pallbearers
were: E. Cook, A. Clarkson, G. Cook, E.
Steep, C, Gook and A. Cudmore.
Little Daughter Dead•
This morning Marjorie R., daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick W., Watts,
of Raglan street, passed away after only
a few days illness of pneumonia, at the
age of 4 years and 2 months. The
funeral will be held on Saturday after-
noon at 2.30 o'clock and will be private
A service will be held at the house at
2 o'cl'ock. To the parents the sym-
pathy of the community is extended to

grippe. While there have been a few
cases pronounced as the "flu" tate
medical men declare that the symptoms
are more akin to the old fashioned

Mr. Wm. Bedard, of Goclerich Town-
ship, received word that lois bother, Mr.
Alex. Bedard of Courtwright, had died
from the "!flu". The funeral took place
from the family residence, Courtrlght,
to the Roman Catholic church, Cor -
mina. Mass was sung by Rev. Father
Labelle; assisted by Rev. Father Cam-
peau, of Petrone. He is survived by his
father and mother, Mr. and Mrs, Alex-
ander Bedard; five brothers and three
sisters, 'Charles of St, Joseph's; William

Died at Windsor.
On Monday of this week Sarah Ernie
Jordan, wife of James E. Young, passed
away lit the hospital in that city,
pneumonia The body was brought to
Clinton and the funeral was held from
the home of her mother, Mrs. John
Brown, on Wednesday afternoon, De-
ceased married her bereft husband a-
bout 5 years ago, and resided here with
iter mother while her husband Was over
seas, and was an active worker in Willis
Sunday school while here. Besides her
mother and sister in town, site is sure
vived by a brother and several sisters
in the West.
