Soldiers Memorial Erected at Exeter.
Exeter Times:—The soldiersmemorial
for Exeter and Usborne is being erect-
ed in front of the municipal buildings
this week, The unveiling will take place
on Friday, January 9th at 3 o'clock foil

soldiers at six o'clock, Capt. T. F. Best,

First Fire In 1920.
Tuesday evening about 7,30 o'clock
the house of Mr. W, A. McGuire, North
Street as destroyed by fire. The family
were sitting in the dining room lifter
supper when flames broke out from a
partition, where a stove pipe went
through. Fortunately all the furni-
ture was removed. There was no in-
surance on the house.
